Universum Bremen is a science museum in Bremen and the characteristic building looks like a whale and a bivalve. There are 3 themes and floors of technology, humans and nature. The theme of the 1st floor is technology: mechanics, electricity, robots, and so on, the theme of the 2nd floor is humans: body, senses, ways of communication and so on, the theme of the 3rd floor is nature: colors, structures, the planet, and so on, and you can learn everything through experiences.

In order to visit the museum, you can get there from Universität/NW1 stop of tram (Line 6) approx. 5 minutes on foot. The opening hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays, and the admission fee is 16 euro for adult and 11 euro for child.

Bremerhaven is in northern Germany and by the mouth of the Weser, which flows into the North Sea. Bremerhaven is a federal state as city state with the city Bremen and the population is over 0.5 million. In the Bremen state the city is a detached place of land and the Bremen city is approx. 50 kilometers distance in the south from the city. The name "Bremerhaven" means "the harbor of Bremen" and originally the city was builded as the outport of Bremen, and the city is developed as a port city.

German Maritime Museum is a museum in Bremerhaven and there are exhibitions about german ships and voyages. In the building there are wide exhibitions about ship structures and constructions, history of voyages and emigration, steam engines, navigation, water sports, fishery and whale fishing, polar research and so on, and also a lot of models of sailing and steam ships, warships and submarines. And outside of the building there are the original Bark SEUTE DEERN, the original Submarine WILHELM BAUER and so on.

In order to visit the museum, you can get there from the Bremerhaven central station of the Deutsche Bahn approx. 25 minutes on foot. The opening hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on Mondays in winter season), and the admission fee is 6 euro for adult and 4 euro for child.
