Kobe Airport - UKB
Kobe Airport is an airport in Kobe, and one of the 3 airports in Kansai. It is located in the Port of Kobe and on the artificial island of the south for the Port Island, and it has the nickname of Marine Air. You will take approx. 18 minutes by Port Liner from Sannomiya Station of JR or Kobe Sannomiya Station of the Hankyu and Hanshin to go to the airport. From Kobe Airport the domestic flights fly to Tokyo, Chiba, Sendai, Ibaraki, Yonago, Nagasaki, Kagoshima and Naha.

Kobe Port Tower
Kobe Port Tower is a 108 meters observation tower in Kobe and was build in 1963 as the first tower of pipe structure in the world. The design was made with an image of a musical instrument "Tsuzumi", and the tower is constructed from 32 straight steel pipes. From the observatory you can enjoy a 360-degree fine panorama of the city of Kobe, Mt. Rokko, the port of Kobe and so on.
In order to visit the tower, you can get there approx. 5 minutes on foot from the Minato Motomachi station of Kobe City Subway or approx. 15 minutes on foot from the Motomachi station of JR and Hanshin Railway. The opening hours are from 9 am till 9 pm (admission till 8:30 pm), till 7 pm (admission till 6:30 pm) in winter, and the admission fee for the observatory is 700 yen for adults and 300 yen for children.
