JR Yamanote Line

JR East is a Japan Railway in the Kanto and Tohoku region, and the Japanese National Railways was divided and privatized to 6 Japan Railways in 1987, and the JR East is a company of the 6 companies. There are Shinkansen, Yamanote Line, Keihin Tohoku Line, Tokaido Line, Shonan Shinjuku Line, Ueno Tokyo Line, Chuo Line, Soubu Line, Keiyo Line, Musashino Line, Saikyo Line and so on. The ticket price is set per distance and a ticket of the JR East costs from 140 yen.

Yokohama City Subway

Yokohama City Subway has 2 lines. There are Blue Line and Green Line.

Sagami Railway

Sagami Railway is a private railway in Yokohama. It has Sotetsu Main Line and Izumino Line.

The Landmark Tower Yokohama

The Landmark Tower Yokohama

The Landmark Tower Yokohama is a 296 meters tower building in Yokohama and a complex which consists of offices, hotel, shopping mall and so on. As a tower building it is the second highest building in Japan and as a structure also the fifth highest structure in Japan. You can enjoy a 360-degree fine panorama of the city from the observatory floor "Sky Garden" on the 69th floor in 273 meters height. The elevators to the Sky Garden are the fastest elevators in Japan with the maximum speed of 750 meters a minute, and you can arrive from the 2nd floor to the 69th floor in approx. 40 seconds.

In order to visit the tower, you can get there approx. 5 minutes on foot from the Sakuragicho station of JR and Yokohama City Subway and approx. 3 minutes on foot from the Minatomirai station of the Minatomirai Line. The opening hours are from 10 am till 9 pm (admission till 8:30 pm, the closing time will be extended an hour on Saturdays and also on Sundays when the next Monday is a holiday), and the admission fee for the observatory floor is 1,000 yen for adults and 800 yen for high school students and 500 yen for children.
